Terracotta Far East Film Festival 2011

3rd ANNUAL TERRACOTTA FESTIVAL

5th – 8th May 2011

The Terracotta Far East Film Festival is back for its third year this May, once again presenting a a bunch of carefully selected titles from across East Asia.

Showcasing 14 films from Thursday 5th to Sunday 8th May 2011 at the Prince Charles Cinema in London, the first titles have been announced and include:

    • Karate Girl (Yoshikatsu Kimura / 2011) European Premiere – starring Rina Takeda, real teenage Karate Champion (star of High Kick Girl!), Japan
    • Petty Romance (Kim Jeong-hoon-II / 2010) UK Premiere – starring Lee Sun-kyun (Oki’s Movie), Choi Kang-hee, South Korea.
    • Revenge: A Love Story (Wong Ching Po / 2010) UK Premiere –  starring and written by Juno Mak, co-starring Sola Aoi (Big Tits Zombie), Hong Kong.
    • Gallants (Clement Cheng / 2010) UK Premiere starring Chen Kuan-Tai and Bruce Leung Siu-Lung, Hong Kong.
    • Yakuza Weapon (Tak Sakaguchi / 2011) European Premiere starring Dennis Gunn, Cay Izumi and Shinji Kasahara, Japan.
    • Lost Bladesman (Alan Mak and Felix Chong / 2011) European Premiere – starring Donnie Yen (Ip Man), China.

Confirmed guests (so far!): Rina Takeda, Clement Cheng and Tak Sakaguchi.

Tickets are on sale now via Prince Charles Cinema website (or by phone or in person at Prince Charles Cinema).

Ticket prices are as follows:

    • Early Bird BEFORE 15th April:     £7.50 or (£6.00 for PCC Members)
    • FROM 16th onwards:                  £8.50 or (£7.50 for PCC Members)
    • Festival Pass*:                         £70 (entry to all films with reserved seating)
